Women on the Wing is a national initiative designed to recruit, retain, and reactivate women in upland hunting and habitat conservation through hands-on education, mentorship, and field-based experiences.
Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are working to grow and diversify the upland conservation community, with a focus on bringing more women into hunting and shooting with our Women on the Wing Initiative.
Women on the Wing chapters give women a space to connect, lead and engage in conservation while building confidence and skills in the outdoors.
Programs led by women provide representation and a strong sense of camaraderie for participants. The resulting confidence and social support sets participants up to become independent, long-term hunters and conservationists.
We encourage women to submit their stories to share their unique experiences and perspectives in the outdoor community.
